Film Residency Program with High Tech High Media Arts
New this season, ArtPower! Film inaugurates the Film Residency Program at High Tech High Media Arts (HTHMA). Through screenings, panel discussions, and conversations with directors, the Film Residency Program will provide advanced film and media students at HTHMA with an opportunity to become active participants in the creative process. This residency program was created in collaboration with classroom teachers to target specific themes in the twelfth grade HTHMA curriculum.

Student Matinees
The power of the arts and the power of higher education join together as part of the ArtPower! Student Matinee Program for local K–12 students. These fifty-minute performances are specifically designed for students to explore a diversity of arts disciplines and interact with professional artists from around the world. Pre- and post-campus tours are arranged for all visiting school groups to introduce students to the excitement of life on a university campus. Performances are open to schools and districts from throughout San Diego County and scholarship assistance is available to qualifying schools.
